Free Summer Hiking Programme

Innsbruck invites visitors to hike in the Alps with 1200km of maintained paths offering some of the most beautiful surroundings for outdoor exercise and relaxation.

The hiking programme, approved guide from the Alpine School Innsbruck, equipment rental (hiking boots and backpack) and transportation on the hiking bus is free for all guests staying in Innsbruck or one of its 25 holiday villages and owning a guest card from June 1 - 23 October 2015. The guest card can be collected for free at check-in at the hotel.

Mountain Cart Adventure

Its array of leisure options has made the Mutterer Alm Adventure Mountain a firm favourite with families and its latest, gravity-fuelled mountain carts, attraction promises fun for visitors of all ages.

Visitors can start out with a leisurely ascent on the Mutterer Alm gondola lift and let the kids gambol about the lofty ‘Bäumelhäuser’ tree houses and ‘Zauberwasser’ water world. The best part, however, comes at the end when everyone – children sitting on the lap of an accompanying adult – zooms back into the valley on a zippy mountain cart. You descend back to the holiday village Mutters on a small road featuring a total length of 5km and a respectable altitude difference of approximately 750m.

Lake Natters

The nearby Lake Natters has a fun activity programme for children and free child-minder care of the small ones. Just present your guest card for this service. The lake is open from June 1 – September 18.

Biking

Innsbruck and its 25 holiday villages caters to all mountain biking levels and needs. Bike routes of any difficulty level can be found covering a total of 115km, between 600 and 2250m above sea level.

With the Innsbruck Card, whether they are valid for 24, 48 or 72 hours, now includes three hours of free bike rental with BikeBörse.
