Shopping in Innsbruk

Rathaus Galerien and Kaufhaus Tyrol are lifestyle-shopping centres situated at the Main Boulevard and pedestrian area, Maria-Theresien-Street. The shops of both centres offer a selection of fashion, jewellery and accessories in a tasteful atmosphere. Innsbruck's other big suburban shopping centres are located in the outskirts of the city. Directly in the Old Town you can find many small handcraft stores with local and traditional souvenirs and products.

Swarovski Flagship Store Innsbruck showcases the entire spectrum of the company’s products. Collectors and enthusiasts of fine design can choose from selected crystal components, crystal objects, jewellery, watches, accessories and precision optics. Following extensive renovation works, this luminous shopping landscape and crystalline experience in the very heart of Innsbruck reopened its doors in summer 2011.

Dining out in Innsbruck

Innsbruck’s culinary scene is very international and caters to all needs. From culinary hotspots such as the traditional Weisses Rössl or the Ottoburg restaurant, situated in a former medieval defence tower in the Old Town, to the award winning Schöneck restaurant with its wooden interior style.

Due to the vicinity to the Mediterranean a lot of Italian, Greek and Spanish cuisine can be found. The density of Asian cuisines is also very high; dozens of Chinese, Indian, Korean, Japanese, Nepalese and Thai restaurants compose the cosmopolitan atmosphere of Innsbruck.
