Found nestled between Spain and France is the small but vibrant Principality of Andorra. During the winter, the snow-covered slopes of Andorra become rugged and serene, offering ideal snow conditions for winter sports enthusiasts. In the summer, the snow has melted to leave pristine lakes and green landscapes. The mountain lifts are in action throughout the year for skiers and hikers alike to enjoy the picturesque landscapes and the varying geography that the region offers.

Over the last five years the two main ski areas Grandvalira and Vallnord have seen investments of more than €100 million in infrastructure, including chairlifts, gondolas, mountain cafés, restaurants and car parks to ensure that visitors are able to make the most of their winter or summer break. Additionally, during the winter months, many of the pistes feature the latest generation snow cannons which work throughout the night to ensure ultimate snow coverage.

"Offering value for money, including free lift passes for kids via selected operators, a range of year-round mountain activities and good connections from the UK, increasing numbers of Brits are discovering that Andorra has something to suit all tastes."
